Draft description of how the GiftWise controlled beta handles account and gifting data.
Recipient-safe data
Shared wishlists may be visible within a circle. Surprise ideas, buyer notes, budgets, Gift Closet records, assignments, receipts, codes, and private coordination have narrower access.
Third parties
Retailer links open third-party sites. Preview integrations and providers receive only explicitly approved, minimized context.
Your choices
GiftWise does not sell personal gifting or conversation data. No public profile is required. Export through account data controls; request deletion through in-app account feedback for review. You choose the audience for your Gift Profile and shared lists.
Campaign measurement
Optional public analytics records approved page and campaign categories without names, contents, tokens, referrers or a visitor identifier. A first-touch campaign cookie expires after 30 days. If you sign up, its approved source and landing page connect to first activation milestone timestamps, not a browsing history. Use the footer to disable optional analytics; browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected.
Analytics
Product analytics excludes gift titles, names, selected text, notes, history, exact purchases, pairings, codes, and tokens. Signed-in users may opt out.
Managed profiles
Adults control managed child or dependent profiles. Children should not create accounts until an approved child policy exists.
